Issue: On certain Elantra hybrid models, the vehicle could slowly accelerate after the brake pedal is released.

Note: This problem can only happen under certain conditions after the vehicle enters "fail-safe" mode.

Safety Risk: A vehicle that accelerates on its own could create the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the motor control unit (MCU) software.
