Issue: On certain vehicles, the foam pad between the floor and the fuel tank could retain moisture.

Over time, this moisture could cause corrosion to the tank and result in a fuel leak.

Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.

Corrective Actions: McLaren will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to remove the foam pad from the floor panel of the vehicle.

Dealers will also inspect the fuel tank, and repair or replace it as necessary.
