Issue: On certain vehicles, the left side lower control arm bracket may be incorrectly welded to the front axle. As a result, the lower control arm and bracket could separate. This could cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. A lower control arm that detaches from the vehicle could also create a road hazard for others. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the front axle. It will be replaced if necessary.
