Issue: On certain vehicles, the roll pins in the rear axle differential could fatigue and break over time. This could cause the rear wheels to lock up. Safety Risk: If this occurs while the vehicle is being driven, it could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rear axle differential.
