Issue: On certain cars, the right axle half-shaft could detach.

This could cause a loss of power to the drive wheels.

Additionally, if the parking brake is not applied, this could allow the car to roll away.

Safety Risk: A loss of power to the drive wheels or sudden, unexpected movement of the car could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their car to a dealer to inspect the right driveshaft.

If the driveshaft is not fully engaged to the half-shaft, the driveshaft and half-shaft will be replaced.
