Certain Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) vehicles may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations.

The compliance label may bear incorrect front and rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) values.

If the vehicle were to be loaded in excess of either GAWR value, it could lead to premature tire failure and/or vehicle overloading, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

Correction: Hyundai will send a corrected GAWR label to current owners with instructions for proper placement.

If owners are not comfortable installing the label themselves, they can take the label to a Hyundai dealer for installation.
