On certain vehicles equipped with 9-speed automatic transmissions, the PARK gear position may not properly engage. If the parking pawl fails to engage and the driver does not use the electric parking brake, the vehicle may roll away after the brake pedal is released, which could result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
