On certain vehicles modified for wheelchair accessibility by the Liberty Motor Company Inc., the rear axle may fracture due to a combination of corrosion damage and operation on rough roads. If the rear axle fractures, vehicle handling may be adversely affected, creating the risk of a crash and increasing the risk of injury and/or property damage. Correction: Freedom Motors assigned service shops will inspect axles and reinforce or replace as necessary. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
