On certain vehicles, an instrument panel harness connector could melt, which may cause a loss of headlamp function. Loss of headlamp illumination, should it occur during a rainy/snowy day, or during hours of darkness, could compromise the driver’s ability to see the road and its users, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will remove the harness connector and permanently join the wires. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
