Details |
On certain vehicles equipped with electrically heated front seats, there is a possibility, under extreme cold conditions, for the seat heater control circuit to overheat and fail due to insufficient electrical grounding. Failure of the seat heater control circuit could result in burn damage of the seat cushion surface, or in the worst case, there is a risk of smoke, fire or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install an additional ground harness to the seat heater control system. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
