On certain vehicles, the thickness of the instrument panel pad at the tear lines is 0.74mm, which is thicker than the specified 0.4 =/- 0.05mm. The thicker material at the tear line inhibits the ability of the instrument panel surface to fold upward if the passenger airbag deploys. This may adversely affect the deployment of the passenger airbag. Correction: Dealer will replace the instrument panel. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
