On certain short wheel base mini vans the D-pillar mastic sound barrier patch can loosen and drop into the rear outboard seat belt assembly, causing the seat belt to become inoperative. In the event of a collision, the seat occupant may not be properly restrained, increasing the risk of personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the mastic patches with foam blockers and inspect and replace all 3rd row seat belt assemblies. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
