On certain pickup trucks, the welds at the right side lower control arm (LCA) bracket-to-axle-tube attachment may have inadequate fatigue life due to poor weld quality. Inadequate fatigue life may lead to separation of the LCA bracket from the axle tube. If the bracket separates, the vehicle may experience reduced directional stability, braking degradation and/or vehicle pull under braking. Correction: Front axle will be replaced with a properly welded front axle. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
