THE SPHERICAL PORTIONS OF CERTAIN LOWER BALL JOINTS MAY HAVE FINISHED SURFACES THAT ARE NOT SMOOTH. THE RESULTING FRICTION WITH THE SURFACE OF THE POLYACETAL BALL JOINT CAP COULD ULTIMATELY LEAD TO SEPARATION OF THE BALL JOINT. THIS COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND A VEHICLE CRASH. CORRECTION: DEALERS WILL REPLACE SUSPECT LOWER BALL JOINTS ON AFFECTED VEHICLES. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
