On certain vehicles, the rear axle shafts may contain brake drum/wheel studs that are not concentric with the drum pilot diameter. This could prevent full seating of the drum to the axle shaft flange which may cause wheel stud nut loosening. Loss of a wheel could result in a vehicle crash without prior warning. Correction: Axle shafts will be inspected and replaced if necessary. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
