VEHICLES PRODUCED AT THE KANSAS CITY ASSEMBLY PLANT. VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITH A MISSING OR IMPROPERLY TORQUED PINCH BOLT AND NUT USED TO ATTACH THE INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT TO THE STEERING COLUMN. IF THE PINCH BOLT IS MISSING OR HAS DISENGAGED, THE INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT COULD SLIP RELATIVE TO THE STEERING COLUMN AND EVENTUALLY SEPARATE FROM THE COLUMN RESULTING IN A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL. .
