Volvo XC90
For 2023, Volvo’s three-row midsize crossover offers two powertrain options starting with a turbocharged and supercharged gasoline engine that features 48V mild hybrid technology. The second, called T8 Recharge, is a plug-in hybrid system that gains a more powerful rear electric motor for a total of 455 horsepower. It also uses a larger-capacity battery allowing pure electric range of 53 km. If you want a fully electric alternative, you’ll have to wait for the all-new EX90.
