Volvo XC40
The little XC40 is available either with a conventional engine, namely a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder (247 horsepower) featuring mild hybrid technology, an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, or with a fully electric powertrain. The latter can be specified with a single motor (248 horsepower) or dual motors (402 horsepower). The interior is clean and comfortable, while a smooth ride adds to the experience. Unfortunately, the XC40’s success is compromised by reliability issues.
