Volvo S40
For 2010, the Volvo S40’s basic price is reduced by 2,700$, but it loses its heated seats, fog lights, and steering wheel mounted audio controls, among other things. The small Swedish sedan is still powered by a 168 horsepower 2.4-litre five-cylinder engine or, for more power, a 227 horsepower 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbo engine. This last variant comes standard with an all-wheel drive system. The R-Design options package is available for a sportier look.
