Volkswagen Touareg
This big German SUV can be ordered with a either a gas or diesel engine. The diesel is a 3.0L V6 turbo whose horsepower increases from 220 to 240 this year. The traditional gas engine is a 3.6L V6 generating 280 horsepower and 266 lbs.-ft. of torque. All versions of the Touareg are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
