Volkswagen Tiguan
Virtually unchanged for 2023, the Tiguan boasts a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 184 horsepower along with 221 lb-ft. of torque. It’s all controlled by an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system as standard. There is no other engine option, let alone a hybrid variant. Too bad because fuel economy could be better. On the other hand, the Tiguan can accommodate up to seven people or pack more than 2,000 litres of cargo.
