The turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine generates 158 horsepower along with 184 lb-ft. of torque, just like the Jetta’s. FWD and AWD models can be specified, while trim levels include Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. Roomier than most direct competitors, this German fighter has a 790-litre cargo area that expands up to 1,866 litres with the rear seats folded (or 705 to 1,705 litres when equipped with the optional all-wheel drive system).
