Volkswagen Passat
Totally revitalized last year, the Passat can come with one of three different drivetrains. The TDI is equipped with a 2.0L 140-hp turbodiesel engine. A 2.5L 5-cylinder engine is also offered in addition to a 3.6L V6 that produces 280 horsepower and 258 lbs.-ft. of torque. Two manual transmissions of 5 and 6 speeds are available as well as two different 6-speed automatics, including a dual-clutch gearbox available with the TDI and V6 engines.
