The Atlas is a three-row midsize SUV slotting above the Tiguan in the Volkswagen lineup. Following a number of changes last year, it returns with the same formula for 2022. Engine selection includes a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder and a naturally aspirated 3.6-litre V6. As a result, maximum towing capacity is rated at 2,000 pounds and 5,000 pounds, respectively. For a sportier option, consider the two-row, coupe-like Atlas Cross Sport.
