Toyota Sequoia
In a segment dominated by the Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban, GMC Yukon and Ford Expedition, the Sequoia is almost a non-factor. And yet Toyota introduced a brand new generation of its full-size SUV last year. All models feature a turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 and electric motor generating a combined 437 horsepower, whether it’s the trail-oriented TRD or the more upscale Platinum and Capstone. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 9,120 lbs, while average fuel consumption is a reasonable 11.7 L/100 km.
