As the most popular SUV in Canada, the RAV4 returns for 2022 with no significant changes. A 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine is used in various applications. Base models generate 203 horsepower, while RAV4 Hybrid models add a pair of electric motors for a total of 219 horsepower. And then there’s the RAV4 Prime, a plug-in hybrid alternative offering 302 horsepower and 68 kilometres of electric range. Full EV rebates are available with this one.
