It has always seemed more expensive than others. But Toyota has fixed the problem by recently making a two-wheel drive version available. Five 2RM versions are thus added to the Rav4’s catalogue, including the 179 horsepower four-cylinder (2,5 litres) models. As a consequence, the Rav4 begins at 24,500$, becoming very competitive. Take note that the third row bench seat made for two additional passengers comes with the powerful 269 horsepower V6 engine only.
