Toyota Prius
Known as the original hybrid, the Toyota Prius is now available in two different powertrain configurations. The first is a regular hybrid with available all-wheel drive called AWD-e. The second, featured in the Prius Prime, is a plug-in hybrid that uses the same 1.8-litre engine but adds a larger, 8.8-kWh battery allowing a pure electric drive range of about 40 kilometres. A few equipment revisions are in store for the 2022 model year.
