Toyota Mirai
The Mirai is a fuel-cell electric sedan that runs on hydrogen. In 2018, it finally made its debut in Canada, but only as part of select fleets in Quebec due to the extremely limited refueling infrastructure. The Mirai offers approximately 500 kilometres of range, takes a mere five minutes to fill up and effectively withstands cold temperatures, Toyota insists. Under its aerodynamic body is a 151-horsepower motor (with 247 pound-feet of torque) that only emits water vapour.
