Subaru Outback
Like its sibling, the Legacy, the Outback returns unchanged. A fan favourite in Vermont and the Laurentians, it comes with a 175-horsepower, 2.5-litre flat-four that can be combined with a six-speed manual (exclusive to Canada) or an optional CVT automatic. The more “SUV-style” choice would be the optional 3.6-litre flat-six, which generates 256 horsepower and 247 lb.-ft. of torque, transmitted to all four wheels by the automatic transmission.
