Subaru Impreza
The Impreza is another Subaru that’s nearing the end of its current cycle. There are no real changes for 2023 beyond the elimination of the four-door sedan, which proved less practical and popular than the five-door hatchback. The lone engine option is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder that supplies 152 horsepower, while the standard manual gearbox is a five-speed unit only. The latter can be replaced by a continuously variable transmission to improve fuel economy.
