Subaru Crosstrek
The darling of outdoor enthusiasts, the Crosstrek distances itself from the Impreza by coming back unchanged for 2017. The only exception is that the hybrid version has been discontinued. A 148-horsepower, 2.0-litre flat-four powers all four wheels via a five-speed manual or a continuously variable automatic. The CVT comes with a more sophisticated all-wheel drive system. Fun fact: this urban warrior has a towing capacity of 680 kilograms (1500 pounds).
