smart EQ fortwo
Along with Tesla, smart is currently one of just two all-electric car brands in North America. Its iconic city car now goes by the name of “EQ fortwo,” referring to the new electric-car division of Mercedes-Benz. It still comes in coupe and cabriolet form, but with an 80-horsepower motor and a lithium-ion battery providing 92 kilometres of range. As far as amenities are concerned, look for standard heated seats, while the seven-inch touchscreen demands a premium.
