Mitsubishi Outlander
The Outlander plug-in hybrid is finally on its way. It combines a 2.0L four cylinder engine with two electric motors for a combined output of about 200 horsepower. Its 12-kWh battery promises about 35 km of range. TThe conventional versions of the Outlander are equipped with a four-cylinder mill and a CVT automatic, but a 3.0L V6 matched to a six-speed automatic gearbox is also available, allowing for a maximum tow capacity of 3500 pounds (1588 kilograms).
