Mercedes-Benz SLK
The base trim of the SLK-Class has a new, more powerful engine—a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo with 241 horsepower (SLK 300), but it loses its manual gearbox in exchange for a new 9-speed automatic. A 7-speed automatic comes standard on the other versions: the SLK 350 (3.5-litre V6 with 302 horsepower) and the SLK 55 AMG (5.5-litre V8 with 415 horsepower). Later this year, the SLK retractable hardtop will be updated and released as the “SLC.”
