Cosmetic revisions, new body colours, over-the-air updates and extra standard content define the 2024 GLS. All powertrain options include mild hybrid technology, starting with the base 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine (375 horsepower) in GLS 450 trim. A 4.0-litre V8 is found in the GLS 580 (510 horsepower), Maybach GLS 600 (550 horsepower) and AMG GLS 63 (603 horsepower). The Maybach model ranks among the most opulent SUVs on the planet along with the Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
