Mercedes-Benz G-Class
The iconic G-Class has been around since 1979, becoming a powerful status symbol in the process. The luxurious and highly capable off-roader built in Austria by Magna Steyr is equally at home on the Las Vegas strip and in the sand dunes of Qatar. Pricing is excessively high, just like fuel consumption, but that probably doesn’t matter for owners. Until a fully electric variant comes around, the G-Class soldiers on with a turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 producing up to 577 horsepower.
