Mercedes-Benz CLS
The 2019 model year saw the launch of the third-generation CLS, a four-door luxury coupe that sparked a new trend in the auto industry. Designers went back to the original recipe, but with some improvements inside and out, most notably the addition of a fifth seat. Meanwhile, engineers replaced the old V8 with a pair of turbocharged six-cylinder engines rated at 362 and 429 horsepower. Both use a 48-volt starter-alternator providing some electric assistance in key situations.
