McLaren Artura
The Artura (which is a combination of the words “Art” and “Futura”) is the first plug-in hybrid supercar from the British automaker. A 577-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 is paired with a 94-horsepower electric motor drawing energy from a 7.4kWh battery. Pure electric range is a modest 30 km. Still, you have to be impressed with the fact that the Artura weighs less than 1.5 ton, ensuring sharp handling. Pricing starts at around $275,000 before you add any options.
