Kia Niro
This subcompact crossover teams a 1.6-litre gasoline engine with an electric motor. Combined, they develop a total of 139 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque, sent to the vehicle's front wheels. In town, fuel consumption can be as low as 4.5 litres/100 kilometres. The Niro can accommodate up to five passengers. A fully electric version that will borrow its components from the Hyundai Kona should soon be available as well.
