Kia Niro
Kia's new crossover, the Niro, has a bright future ahead of it. It shares its architecture with the Hyundai Ioniq and features the same hybrid drivetrain. Its 104-horsepower, 1.6L four cylinder engine is aided by a 43-horsepower electric motor. A 1.6-kWh battery pack completes the picture. It has front-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic gearbox. A plug-in hybrid will also arrive in 2018 with a driving range of up to 41 kilometres, thanks to its 8.9-kWh battery pack.
