Peter Schreyer, Kia’s star designer-turned-president has done it again with the Forte. First the sedan was updated, and now Kia’s turning its attention toward the coupe, known as Koup, and the Forte5 hatchback. Depending on the version, the engine is a four-cylinder with varying capacities: a 1.8L, 2.0L (173-hp) or a 1.6L (201-hp) turbo. The Forte has everything it needs to take on the Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra or Mazda3.
