This is Infiniti's second-generation crossover vehicle. Aesthetically, the FX now has softer lines and an aerodynamic shape that was extensively studied. On the mechanical side, the 3.5-litre V6 engine's power output goes from 275 to 303 horsepower, while the V8's displacement grows from 4.5 to 5.0 litres. It produces 390 horsepower, 70 more than previously. Both engines come standard with a seven-speed automatic transmission, instead of the previous five speeds.
