The Santa Cruz combines the versatility of an open cargo bed with the comfort and handling of an SUV. For some reason, Hyundai still doesn’t want to call it a pickup. Customers don’t seem to care, as sales are surprisingly decent. The Santa Cruz is motivated exclusively by a turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine producing 281 horsepower and towing up to 5,000 lbs. Too bad the cargo bed is just 4 feet and 3 inches long.
