Hyundai Nexo
The Hyundai Nexo is a fuel cell electric crossover that uses a chemical reaction to convert hydrogen into energy. The only emissions are water vapour. Though output is limited to 161 horsepower, peak torque is an impressive 291 lb-ft. Maximum range is officially rated at 570 km, and filling the 6.33kg hydrogen tank takes a mere five minutes. The biggest problem with the Nexo continues to be the extremely small number of refuelling stations in Canada.
