Hyundai Nexo
The Nexo is one of just two hydrogen-powered vehicles available in Canada. Instead of a high-voltage battery, this unique EV uses a fuel cell to operate. That means you don’t plug it into a home or public charger. Rather, you must stop by a hydrogen refuelling station—and those are extremely hard to find at the moment. A high price also doesn’t help the Nexo. Still, Hyundai remains committed to the technology.
