Honda Insight
The first Honda Insight, launched at the beginning of the millennium, was more of a market test than a production vehicle. For this new generation, Honda used the Fit subcompact’s chassis so as to reduce production costs. The simple and inexpensive hybrid system is efficient and manages to make the Insight extremely economical. The 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine is connected to a 13 horsepower electric engine and a continuously variable transmission. Fuel economy is excellent.
