Honda Civic
This is an important year for the Civic, as a five-door hatchback will be added to the lineup. The coupe and sedan still offer the choice of a 158-horsepower, 2.0-litre four-cylinder and a turbocharged, 1.5-litre engine that produces 174 horsepower. The manual gearbox will now be available on the latter. This year, Canadians will finally have access to the raging Type R—the most performance-infused Civic built so far—which will boast at least 300 horsepower.
