Ford Taurus
For Ford, the Taurus name equals hope… and sales. The new generation, which reflects the preceding ones (1986 – 2006), should give Ford a boost. Two 3.5-litre V6 engines power the Taurus. The first, producing 263 horsepower, does what it is supposed to do. But all eyes are on the demented 365 horsepower SHO. Whichever engine and power train (front or all-wheel drive) are chosen, each Taurus comes with a six-speed automatic transmission.
