Ford Ranger
Ford’s midsize pickup returned in 2019 after several years off the market. Essentially unchanged for 2021, it continues to rely on a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine rated at 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission and standard 4WD complete the powertrain. Customers can choose between various trim levels, two separate cabs and two bed sizes. Let’s not forget the FX4 off-road package that many will want to add for extra ruggedness.
